11/07/2015 – SWIMMIAMI JOINS FORCES WITH RUNWAY AUSTRALIA LINK
ABFA presents Runway Australia by showcasing Australia’s élite Swim and Resort designer labels in Miami. The event will form part of the official SWIMMIAMI runway schedule, for this year’s Miami Swim Week.
Runway Australia promotes, a collective of Australia’s most innovative labels that are pushing boundaries, and setting Swim and Resort trends. It recognises brands for their originality, local manufacturing status, and strong trends-translation ability. All of which make them stand out in Australian and International markets.
Runway Australia will launch on Sunday July 19th at 10 pm, at 1 Hotel South Beach, 2341 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach FL 33139, followed by an exclusive VIP post-show reception.
ABFA has handpicked two of Australia’s leading swimwear brands, Jewels & Grace andAllerton, for this year’s Runway Australia event. Both brands bring a fresh, innovative, approach to swimwear design, and couple it with a proven ability to meet the production and supply-demands of global retailers.
This is validated by the recent partnership with retail giant FOREVER 21, who selected both brands to form part of its carefully curated collection of branded designer swimwear, now available in its Las Vegas stores.
Jewels & Grace is also partnered with one of the UK’s oldest department stores, House of Fraser (HoF). HoF stocks some of the most coveted designer brands from around the globe.
Both brands were asked what they consider to be the key elements, in the creation of balanced collections, that are setting new trends for the season and that have global commercial appeal.
